Let's Learn Together

Have you ever tried slow or mindful stitching?

It's a creative textile method that lets you use needle and thread to make art, like painting or sculpting. And the best part? It's a great mindfulness activity that can help you relax and be present.

Slow stitching is the perfect way to take a break from your busy life and create something beautiful with your hands. You can use recycled garments to make your creations sustainable, and it's a great way to hold on to the past while breathing new life into something old.

If you want to try slow stitching, use these videos as inspiration. They were made as part of the 'Sew What?' mindful stitch programme, but the concepts and techniques can easily be adapted for any mindful stitch project you fancy. Previous experience is optional, and no great layout..you can almost start right away.
