Exhibitions Axed In COVID-19 Lockdown
It's with a heavy heart that I have found out that the British Quilt & Stitch Village is the latest exhibition to bite the dust due to 2020 pandemic. The necessary lockdown and 2m distance rule have decimated the planned art offering schedule. To date I will now not be showing at:
The Embroiderers' Guild group exhibition, The Little Theatre, Leicester
'Between the Lines,' Loose Threads, Melton Mowbray
Artist in residence at Final Year Show, King Edward VI College, Nuneaton
'Edges,' Jeudis Mixed Media Textiles, Nuneaton Art Gallery, Warwickshire
But this imposed retreat has brought as many benefits as hindrances. I am undecided as to whether I will look back on this as the worst or best of times.
